Every deck boot is built for water. Deadrise is built for the ride out, too.
It is 100% waterproof, ankle height, and pulls straight on. The outsole is cut with fine grooves that bite into wet fiberglass and washdown decks, and it will not leave black scuffs on a customer's boat. The category got all of that right a long time ago, and we did not change it.
What we changed is underneath. Most deck boots put a flat slab of hard rubber between your foot and the deck. When the boat comes down, a flat slab can only do one thing: squash straight down and pass the rest through to your foot.
Soft Wake is a thick layer of cushioning foam, molded into a wave instead of a slab. It squashes down and flexes out sideways at the same time, so the hit gets soaked up and spread across the whole sole.
